Fuel Efficiency The SV280 relies on a DOC-only solution to meet Tier 4 Final emissions standards — no fluids to add, no filters to replace or maintain, and no intensive lifetime service. And a large, 25.5-gallon (96.5L) fuel tank enables it to run all day without refueling. Comfort and Visibility With the widest skid steer cab in the industry and a low threshold, operators can more comfortably enter the machine and have more room to work. A cab-forward design, curved rear window and the industry’s thinnest side screens provide best-in-class 360° visibility. Standard side lights (another CASE exclusive) also help with visibility at night. Serviceability CASE skid steers have long been the best for serviceability. Tier 4 Final HPCR, EXTERNAL CEGR Why this solution: This Tier 4 Final solution requires no new actions or upkeep and delivers best-in-class performance so operators can focus entirely on the work at hand. How it works: The high-pressure common rail (HPCR) system electronically controls fuel injection for greater fuel economy through more efficient fuel burn. With Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR), exhaust gases are cooled, blended with fresh air and then returned to the cylinder. The additional particulate matter is managed by the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC). The DOC converts emissions into neutral gasses and automatically burns it off using heat from the exhaust. What this means to you: This solution is a maintenance-free solution, requiring no costly DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to replace and no new fluids to add. Powered by an FPT engine.
